BALTIMORE -- Protests continue in Baltimore following the death of Freddie Gray. However, they've been relatively peaceful lately. Meanwhile, the National Guard is continuing to draw down its presence in the city. It's been several days since violent riots followed Gray's funeral. Baltimore residents are now glad they can come and go as they please since the curfew was lifted. But the city is still tense and officials say a state of emergency remains in effect. They say lifting the curfew is a big part of getting life back to normal. Another sign of normalcy the national guard continuing to draw down the 3,000 troops brought in to keep the peace. The process should be finished by midweek.

Legal experts are pleading with the public to let the process play out in court, not in the streets. But protestors say they'll continue demonstrating until justice is served. The six officers charged in Gray's death have all been released on bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 27.
