STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – A former Penn State University student reported missing over the weekend has been found.  State College Police in a tweet this afternoon announced that Jon S. Steindorf, has been located in State College, safe and unharmed.  Police thanked all who assisted in locating Steindorf.

The family of the 23 year old State College man had reported him missing on Friday afternoon when they went to pick up him up for Penn State University commencement exercises.   He was last seen by his roommate at about 11:30 Friday morning at their apartment on Pugh Street.  Steindorf had left behind his phone, keys and identification.

Police have not said where exactly Steindorf was found nor why he disappeared.
