STORMS TO START
The summery warmth from the weekend spills over to start the week. However, we watch a slow moving front glide into the region for Monday into Tuesday. Today, expect mostly cloudy skies with highs in the middle 80s. Isolated thunderstorms will fire later on Monday.
We’ll keep the chance for storms overnight, tapering to scattered showers early Tuesday. Highs Tuesday hit the middle 80s as skies begin to clear and cooler air settles in late.
When the front finally moves through, we’re dropping temperatures back to closer to seasonal averages. Highs Wednesday drop to the middle and upper 60s with a breeze. We’re partly cloudy. Thursday, we do low 70s with more sun and Friday we’re in the middle 70s and looking dry and partly cloudy.
High pressure breaks down a bit for the weekend. While warmer weather continues to build, we see the chance for a few showers and thunderstorms in the forecast each day over the weekend. Expect highs in the upper 70s.
Have a marvelous Monday!
