COOL & COMFY
Cooler temperatures are in store for the middle of the week. Less humid air behind a cold front continues to slide in, with the cooler air trailing behind it. This evening we see a rapid drop in temperatures as a result. The winds stay very breezy too, adding to the chill. Overnight lows fall into the upper 40s to middle 50s. Conditions remain cool and comfortable, yet breezy, through Wednesday. A mixture of clouds and some sunshine is expected, with more clouds during early to mid afternoon. Highs are in the middle to upper 60s. Thursday features plenty of sunshine, with highs in the lower to middle 70s.
Clouds begin to build back into the area Friday as the pattern prepares to turn unsettled once more. A late day shower or thunderstorm is possible. The weekend turns a bit on the unsettled side. There will be the chance for a few thunderstorms, mainly on Saturday. Saturday, temperatures continue to rise, with readings reaching the upper 70s to lower 80s. Sunday and Monday highs are in the upper 70s with isolated thunderstorm chances.
The pattern next week likely remains unsettled as a cold front approaches. It moves through the area Monday into Tuesday, bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms. Highs are in the lower to middle 80s. Tuesday skies dry out, with temperatures cooling off a touch into the middle to upper 70s.
Have a great night!
