Fake $100 bills passed at outlets in Lancaster County

EAST LAMPETER TOWNSHIP, LANCASTER COUNTY-Police are trying to track down the suspects who passed several fake $100 bills at the Rockvale Square Outlets and Tanger Outlets in Lancaster County on Friday.

Investigators say the suspects hit at least six stores at the outlets on May 8.   In each case, the suspects made small purchases in order to get the most cash back from their purchases.

A total of seven $100 counterfeit bills were used, according to police reports. Authorities are currently reviewing surveillance video in order to identify the  thieves.

The East Lampeter Township Police Department wants anyone who has information about the incident to call 717-291-4676.
