PALMYRA, LEBANON COUNTY-A school crossing guard was hospitalized after being stuck by a vehicle in Lebanon County Tuesday morning, police said.
It happened at the intersection at Railroad and Cherry Streets in Palmyra around 7:07 a.m.
According to police , 93-year-old Clarence Risser was driving north on Railroad Street when he struck 62-year-old Katherine Vandermark. Vandermark was directing traffic at the intersection, helping two students across Railroad Street, when she was hit.
She was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Police continue to investigate the accident.
