York Police bust weekend college party, dozens arrested

police carYORK, Pa. –  York City Police Neighborhood Enforcement Units and patrol officers on Saturday, May 9 at about 7:40 pm, armed with a search warrant, raided a large party at three homes along the 200 block of West Jackson Street.   Dozens of people were arrested.

Patrons at the party were being charged for beer.  Undercover officers were sent in prior to the warrant being served.  Police arrested without incident James Moffitt, Paul Fiorelli, Brendan Costello and Vincent Kurp all of 225 West Jackson Street.   They were all taken to Central Booking, processed and released.

All four suspects were charged with Furnishing alcohol to minors and liquor code license required.
In addition173 of the party-goers were arrested for patronizing a speakeasy. 45 of those were also charged with drinking underage.
