CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. – Police arrested Brandon S. Lenig, 30, of Shermans Dale on Friday, after he allegedly stole the key to a Silver Spring Twp Police car while the vehicle was in for service at a local business. The theft was reported immediately
Township Police were able to locate Lenig walking in the Silver Spring Commons complex along the 6000 block of Carlisle Pike. They also discovered Lenig was in possession of the key. He was taken into custody without incident.
Charges against Lenig include Theft by Unlawful Taking and Receiving Stolen Property.
Lenig was transported to Cumberland County Prison where he was arraigned. His bail has been set at $5,000.
