It's not your typical workout, but apparently it's effective!

Penn State's All Big 10 Defensive Tackle Anthony Zettel was caught on camera tackling a tree. Yes, a tree. Zettel crouched into position, ran forward and plowed into the tree, knocking it to the ground.

The unusual training exercise was recorded by his Nittany Lions teammate Jordan Dudas and posted on Instagram with the caption: "This is how Anthony Zettel trains in the off-season."

There's no word on what PSU Head Football Coach James Franklin thinks about this type of workout.
