York City shooting suspect arrested

Latrell Brown

YORK, Pa. – Police arrest a York City man wanted in connection with the shooting of two people.  It happened on May 2nd in the area of the 200 block of West Market Street.  When police arrived on the scene they found two gunshot victims.  18 year old Latrell Brown was identified after several days of investigating as the shooter and  police obtained a warrant for his arrest.

A patrol officer spotted Brown,  this morning in a vehicle in the area of Beaver and Hamilton.  After the vehicle was stopped Brown got out of the vehicle and  attempted to flee from police..  He was apprehended in the area of the Jefferson Center after a brief foot pursuit.

Charges against Brown include aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and firearms not to be carried without a license.
