HARRISBURG, Pa. – A Lebanon County couple has been indicted by a federal grand jury in Harrisburg and arrested for possession of cocaine and criminal conspiracy.
The Indictment charges that Ray Leonard, age 40, of Jonestown and Saleam Moeun, age 30, of Lebanon City, distributed and conspired to distribute more than 500 grams of cocaine in Lebanon County, between January and April of this year.
The charges against the couple stem from a joint investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration and agents with the Attorney General’s Office. If convicted, Leonard and Moeum could face a sentence of up to 80 years in federal prison, a term of supervised release, and a $50 million fine.
Indictments and Criminal Informations are only allegations. All persons charged are presumed to be innocent unless and until found guilty in court.
A sentence following a finding of guilt is imposed by the Judge after consideration of the applicable federal sentencing statutes and the Federal Sentencing Guidelines.
