HARRISBURG, Pa. -  Arts, crafts, and food will be filling up Front Street this weekend during the 48th annual Artsfest at Harrisburg's Riverfront Park. Organized by the group Jump Street, the festival is expected to draw in thousands who will get to enjoy creations from a range of artists.

"Two hundred and fifty artists from pottery and jewelry... clothing; everything you could think of, and you [can] find a treasure in every booth," Program Director Janet Reed said.

The family-friendly event also includes entertainment and even a Kidsfest. Visitors can also enjoy everything from BBQ and crab cakes to international foods.

Artsfest is free to the public and runs 10 a.m.- 7 p.m. Saturday through Sunday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Monday. Parking is available all weekend on City Island for $5, and city garages will be open with their regular charging rates. Street parking will also be available. Meters will be in effect on Saturday.
