Some of the Nation’s most talented “steppers” are showing off their talents in Harrisburg.

More than 200 youth steppers from across the country competed at the Youth Step USA, Inc. National Step Competition on Saturday.
This is the sixth year the event has been held at Harrisburg High School.
Step is a combination of modern dance, tap, cheerleading and gymnastics.

Alfred from Greenbelt, Maryland says, “That feeling right before the first stomp, like the exhilaration that I feel is like through the roof, and it’s something that I don’t feel anywhere else.”

And Brock Harris, CEO of the Youth Step USA, Inc. says, “It’s a great thing when you see young people doing something positive. You know, this is our sixth year holding the national championship here in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. We get a whole lot of kids, and their parents and their family members come and support us annually.”

The winning group will take home the national title.
