Man shot during attempted robbery in York City

YORK, Pa.–Police say a 43-year-old man was shot during an apparent robbery attempt in York City early Monday.

Officers were flagged down by the victim near the 300 block of West Market Street around 1:39 a.m.

Police say a man walked up to the victim, identified as Shane Miller, of York, and demanded money before shooting him in the leg.

Miller was taken to York Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
