LANCASTER, Pa. – Police seek to identify a suspect in the indecent assault of child.  It happened between 3:32 pm and 4:00 pm last Monday, May 25 along the first block of West Chester Square Road in East Lampeter Township.

An unknown man on a bicycle approached four Amish children playing on a long farm driveway. The suspect described as a white male, between 40 and 60 years old, 5 foot seven inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, with hair in a ponytail and possibly a short beard. He was riding a white bicycle.

The children had seen the suspect ride by the driveway several times before he approached them. The suspect asked the children, who were all males under the age of ten, if he could see their penis and if they would like to see his penis.

When the boys said no the male suspect grabbed one of the boys and pulled his pants down exposing the victim’s genitals. The suspect then rode away on his bicycle.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect is asked to submit a tip or contact ELTPD Detective Sergeant Brian Cloonan at (717) 291-4676.
