STORMS AGAIN
More showers and storms fire today after Sunday’s bumpy ride.  A stalled front and a weak low pressure will be the focal point for scattered showers and thunderstorms once again firing in the afternoon and lasting into the evening and early overnight hours.  The front will separate some cooler, drier air from the warm and muggy air.  Today is not a one number kind of day.  Many spots to the northwest will be stuck closer to the upper 70s while spots southeast make a run at middle 80s.

Storms that fire today could be strong again with wind gusts, hail, and even some flooding on already saturated ground.  Stay alert.

UNSETTLED
The stationary front gets hung up nearby for the remainder of the week.  Several waves ride on by keeping mostly cloudy skies in the forecast all week long.  We may see a few showers for Tuesday with highs only near 70° as the cooler air begins to settle in.  Wednesday through Friday we warm from the middle 70s to near 80°.  A few showers may bubble during each day.

WEEKEND
High pressure tries to bump the front far enough south for the weekend to dry us out, but we’ll keep a tiny chance for a shower or thunderstorm in the forecast each day.  Highs are in the lower 80s Saturday and upper 70s Sunday.  It’s partly to mostly cloudy again.

Make it a marvelous Monday!
