SWATARA TOWNSHIP, Pa.–Police are looking for a man and woman who are believed to be connected with a rash of car wash burglaries in Dauphin, Lancaster and Lebanon counties.
The latest incident happened on June 4 at the Rutherford Car Wash located along the 7400 block of Derry Street in Swatara Township between 1:30 a.m. and 2 a.m.
The pair allegedly forced open the cash machine at the car wash and drove off with an undisclosed amount of money.
The vehicle was driven by a white female, mid 20s with blonde hair, investigators said. The passenger appears to be a Hispanic or biracial male, in his 30s with a thin goatee and mustache. Police point out that the man has two distinct tattoos. The word “TROUBLE” is tattooed on his neck and what looks like “Jalynn” is tattooed on the left side of his neck under his ear. The pair were seen riding in a black Nissan Altima, possibly a 2013 model or newer.
Investigators say this theft is related to similar incidents in Derry Township and Lancaster and Lebanon counties.
