HARRISBURG, Pa. – Mayor Eric Papenfuse joined city officials to discuss repairs being made at the Jackson Lick Pool, located at 1201 North 6th Street. The pool still isn’t open to the public for the summer season because of electrical and plumbing issues.

Papenfuse says he recognizes the importance of the public pool, adding “We need activities for our youth and our families. It’s a wonderful pool. It provides recreational opportunities for hundreds of folks.”

Workers plan to have the pool open by the end of June.
