Police ID victim in fatal motorcycle crash

WINDSOR TWP., Pa. –  York Area Regional Police have identified the victim in a fatal motorcycle crash this morning as David W. Hines, 60, of Felton, York County.  Hines was riding southbound on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle when he collided with a northbound Kia sedan on Windsor Road near the intersection of North Blacksmith Avenue in Windsor Township.

Police who responded to the scene at about 10:27 am say Hines was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.  Hines was pronounced dead at the scene by a deputy coroner with the York County Coroner’s Office.

The driver of the Kia, James H. Breyer, Sr., 77, of Windsor was treated and released from York Hospital.  There were no other passengers aboard the motorcycle and in Breyer’s sedan.

Police were on the scene until almost 1 pm. The investigation into the accident continues. Anyone with information is asked to contact York Area Regional Police at (717) 741-1259.
