WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Police are investigating a series of thefts from a Victoria's Secret store. Thieves have swiped undergarments at the Wyoming Valley Mall location several times. First, they made off with bras. Last week, there was a panty raid.
Surveillance video of the latest incident shows three people stealing $3,200 worth of underwear known as "cheeky panties." In the footage, a woman holds up a piece of clothing while two people behind her load up a bag with merchandise.
The panty raid wasn't the first time thieves struck this store. Back in April, cameras caught two people taking hundreds of dollars worth of bras. Additionally, in just the span of a few minutes, crooks stole 75 bras last year.
Danielle Raczowski of White Haven, Luzerne County, says "It's unbelievable. I can't believe that somebody would actually get away with that and nobody saw them taking that much merchandise. It's crazy."
Police say they don't have any solid leads in the case.
