It’s a bit of a reprieve from the heat and humidity today, but it won’t last long. Sunshine gives way to clouds through the day ad highs climb to the lower 80s. Later in the day around the drive home, some showers look to creep eastward. Expect showers in spots overnight. Lows drop to the middle 60s.
ENDING THE WEEK
Thursday, we’re watching a warm front approach which will bring the chance for storms back to the mix through the day. Highs hold out in the upper 70s to near 80°. It’s mostly cloudy and the humidity makes a slow return. Friday, skies are slow to clear with highs in the middle 80s. We should stay mainly dry, but it is warm and humid.
FATHER’S DAY WEEKEND
Saturday looks warm and muggy with highs in the middle 80s again. It’s partly cloudy with the chance for a few isolated showers or storms later. Sunday, for dad, it looks like we could be a bit stormy. Highs are in the middle to upper 60s with muggy air and mostly cloudy skies. Moisture and energy from the remnants of Bill may enhance our shower and storm risk.
Summer officially begins Sunday at 12:38PM as the sun’s most direct rays make it to the northernmost point on earth in the year, reaching the Tropic of Cancer. Enjoy some of the most hours of daylight of the year!
The warm and muggy pattern continues for next week. Highs jump to the upper 80s with partly cloudy skies as we watch the chance for storms daily.
Have a wonderful Wednesday.
