Showers will continue on and off through much of the night as a warm front inches closer. It looks to get hung up across the area in the morning. We could pick up a .5” of rainfall in spots. Some isolated areas may see higher amounts.
Lows will range from the low to mid 60s.
It feels more humid as more moisture streams in on a southeasterly flow. Sunshine will try to break through the clouds but will be limited. If we see enough we could see a few thunderstorms develop in the afternoon, otherwise, there will be a chance for showers. Highs will be cooler around 80.
Clouds start the day Friday and will decrease during the day allowing for more sunshine to warm temperatures into the low 80s. It looks to be a mainly dry day. Heading into the weekend, the heat and humidity rise and storms will threaten both days. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible towards evening Saturday so most of the day will be dry with highs in the mid 80s. Remnants of “Bill” will arrive overnight into late morning Sunday and could bring a soaking rain. Showers and thunderstorms will threaten the afternoon as well. Highs will be warm in the mid to upper 80s. It will certainly continue humid too. A wavy front and several disturbances will keep isolated thunderstorms around through the beginning of next week with highs in the 80s.
It has felt like summer arrived a few weeks ago but it official doesn’t start until Sunday.
You may need to have fun indoors with dad for Father’s Day as showers and thunderstorms will be likely for the day.
