SWATARA TWP., Pa. — A 15 month-old girl drowned in a family pool in Swatara Twp on Monday. It happened around 1pm on the 100 block of Swatara Rd. Family members found the child and performed CPR until emergency crews arrived.
The child was initially taken to the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon, but was later transported to the Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia where the child eventually succumbed and was pronounced dead on Wednesday. No foul play is suspected, according to State Police. An autopsy is scheduled.
