Lancaster man arrested, drugs, cash seized in morning raid

LANCASTER, Pa. – Heavily armed police execute a search warrant early this morning at the Lancaster City home of a suspected drug dealer.  The Pennsylvania State Police Special Emergency Response Team(SERT) entered the home at 843 East Marion Street at about 6:05 am.

They seized 186 bags of heroin, 28 grams of marijuana, a loaded 9 mm semi-automatic handgun which was reported stolen out of Lancaster Township in 2014, $1090.00 in cash, a Honda Accord and packaging material for heroin distribution.

Police also arrested Hector Luis Montijo, 32, of Lancaster. Charges against Montijo include Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin, Receiving Stolen Property, Persons Not to Possess Firearms, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Following arraignment, Montijo was sent to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $30,000 bail.

Montijo’s arrest culminated a confidential narcotics investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police Troop J, Lancaster Vice/Narcotics Unit.
