Because of rain forecast to move through the area, PennDOT has postponed the work scheduled to be done on Route 581 in Cumberland County this weekend.
Crews were expected to work on the westbound part of the bridge over 10th Street in Lemoyne.
The work has been postponed to June 27-29.
PennDOT is doing work on the bridge on weekends in an effort to cut down on disruptions for drivers. The work has resulted in one side of the highway being shut down for entire weekends while crews repair the bridge.
This work is part of the project that began earlier this month to replace the superstructures of the bridges that carry Route 581 over 10th Street.
