QUARRYVILLE, Pa. -- UPDATE -- The hearing for Leeton Thomas has been continued. Check back with FOX43 for updates on when the hearing will be rescheduled.

The Lancaster County man accused of a triple stabbing is expected in court today.  Leeton Thomas is scheduled for a preliminary hearing at 9:30 a.m. before MDJ Stuart Mylin, 25 East State Street in Quarryville.

Police say earlier this month Thomas stabbed 44 year-old Lida Scheetz and her 16 year-old daughter to death. Police found the victims in the basement of their home on the 800 block of Spring Valley Road in East Drumore Township. Thomas is also accused of stabbing and injuring Scheetz' 15 year-old daughter.

Prosecutors believe his history with the victims may have been his motive. Police had arrested Thomas two months earlier and charged him with indecent assault involving the 16 year-old who died, and another 13 year-old girl. Both of the girls testified against Thomas at a preliminary hearing last month.

Thomas is accused of breaking a no-contact order from that case and murdering the 16 year-old and her mother to silence them.

Thomas is facing Criminal and Attempted Homicide, and burglary charges.
