Vintage Brass Quintet stopped by the FOX43 studio for Music Monday. They played their version of the classic Beatles song "Can't Buy Me Love."

The group consists of:

  • Dan Newhouser, former science teacher in the Carlisle school district
  • Dave Rutman, retired systems analyst for the Commonwealth of PA
  • Katie College, former music teacher at Bishop McDevitt
  • Gil Bishop, retired Colonel from the United States Army
  • Jim Milbrand, retired from the Central Dauphin School District

They perform at a number of area events, churches, senior centers and weddings.

They say the chose their name because they prefer being called "vintage" as opposed to "antique."
