EAST HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Organizers at the 24th Annual Lancaster County DUI Awareness Conference say law enforcement officers make an average of two successful DUI arrests per year.

“Keep the streets safe, the DUI drivers off the roads, including alcohol and impaired driving and drug impaired driving, which is on the rise exponentially,” Officer Gavin Kline said. Officer Kline is with the North West Regional Police Department.

More than a dozen local police officers have been named Lancaster County DUI Top Guns, for having the most impaired driving arrests. County leaders honored 17 law enforcement officers who made a combined total of 351 impaired driving arrests in 2014.
