Plainville, Mass. -- The pilot who crashed a plane into a home in Massachusetts Sunday has been identified as a doctor from Tennessee.
Air traffic controllers say Dr. Joseph Kalister called to them minutes before the crash. He reported he had no engine power.
Controllers suggested he land on a nearby highway, but it was too late. The plane hit a home and burst into flames.
Kalister had stopped to refuel the plane at Lancaster Airport.
He was headed to Norwood, Massachusetts, with his wife and daughter.
