STORMS ARE BACK
A weak frontal system sits nearby today bringing us the chance for some showers and t’storms. Morning light rain showers sit ahead of the warm front early this morning. As the front wiggles north today, we’re seeing a bump up in humidity. Highs make a jump at the lower 80s with breaks for sunshine through the afternoon. The front will be a focal point for showers and storms to pop later this afternoon. Some storms may be strong with the potential for damaging winds.
We’re currently under a slight risk for severe weather today. Any storms will begin to taper and fade to widely scattered showers by overnight with lows in the upper 60s.
INTO JULY
We stay seasonably warm for Wednesday with highs in the middle 80s. It’s warm, humid and partly cloudy. A few storms may pop in the day as a weak cold front slips by us. By Thursday, it looks mainly dry with highs closer to 80° under partly cloudy skies. Friday, were at 80° under party cloudy skies as well.
4th OF JULY WEEKEND
For now, the holiday weekend looks warm, muggy, and mostly dry for all of your cook outs and fireworks displays. Saturday, highs are in the lower to middle 80s with partly cloudy skies. A stray storm may fire in the heat of the day, but most look to stay dry. Sunday, it’s warmer yet with highs nearing 86° under partly cloudy skies. Enjoy!
Make it a terrific Tuesday!
