PLEASANT
We close out the work week on a pleasant note. Highs are held near 80° with low humidity. Today, expect mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. A stray shower may slip in, but most stay dry.
We do a bit more with clouds Friday as highs rise again to near 80°. A stray shower is possible, especially late.
FOURTH OF JULY WEEKEND
A stationary frontal boundary just to our south keeps some higher uncertainty to this forecast than usual. The front will be the culprit for clouds and showers nearby, so keep checking back with us. For now, expect a partly to mostly cloudy Saturday with highs only near 80°. It will be slightly more humid with the chance for a passing shower. Sunday looks warmer with highs in the middle 80s and more sunshine. For now, it looks dry.
BEACH
Those of you heading to the shore for a long weekend are in for an okay weekend. It’s a bit cooler with highs in the middle and upper 70s Friday through Sunday. Expect more clouds on Friday and Saturday with some shower and thunderstorms chances through the day, while Sunday will be sunnier. Water temps are in the lower to middle 70s and waves will be at 2-4 feet. Enjoy your trip!
NEXT WEEK
High pressure should help to keep us warm, sunny, and dry for the first half of the week. Expect highs in the mid to upper 80s, finally back to near seasonal averages. A chance for storms slips in with the next system on Wednesday.
Make it a terrific Thursday!
