FRIDAY
Today features a bit of a foggy start, with clear skies above us.  Clouds will fill in through the day as the fog fades to a haze.  Expect highs near 80° with low humidity air continuing.  Rain chances look very limited during the day, but a few showers may try to slip in later.  Overnight, we’ll drop to the middle 60s with a batch or rain moving in while we sleep.

FOURTH OF JULY WEEKEND
As mentioned all week long, it was a changeable forecast due to this pesky stalled front south of us.  Saturday has taken a turn, starting with some rain in the morning hours, tapering in the afternoon.  While it’s a soggy start, we should be able to break the rain for plans later in the afternoon and evening, in time for the fireworks displays.  Highs will be tricky, but middle 70s seem like a good bet.

Sunday, we watch a pattern shift.  We’ll do middle 80s with the return of sunshine and humidity will be noticeable.  It’s seasonably warm and humid.

BEACH
If you’re shore for a long weekend, it looks mild and manageable.  Highs are in the middle and upper 70s Friday through Sunday.  Expect more clouds on Friday, but mainly dry weather.  For Saturday, scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible through the day.  Sunday features more sunshine near Jersey with clouds and lingering showers closer to Maryland shores.  Water temps are in the lower to middle 70s and waves will be at 2-4 feet.  Enjoy your trip!

NEXT WEEK
The first half of the week is partly cloudy with highs in the middle to upper 80s.  Storm chances are minimal for now, but it's another close call.  A front arrives Wednesday, bumping storm chances up later in the day.  Storms linger into the end of the week.

Have a fantastic Friday and a safe holiday weekend!
