We salvage the second half of the holiday weekend with more sunshine.

After morning fog, we get sunnier skies because of an area of high pressure.

With the sun, you’ll really notice the humidity.  The humidity stays with us all week, too.

The sun really spikes up our temperature, too.  Look for highs in the mid 80s.

We stay mild and muggy Sunday night with lows in the mid 60s.

On Monday, we start out sunny, then you’ll notice more clouds filtering out the sunlight.   The clouds increase as a warm front lifts up and over us.

As the warm front crosses, it will spark off a few thunderstorms in the afternoon.  Highs top out in the mid 80s, again.

We really feel the effects of the front on Tuesday.  Highs soar to the upper 80s and we turn even more humid.

In the afternoon, showers and thunderstorms will pop up.

The showers and storms turn more widespread on Wednesday as a cold front crosses over us.

On Thursday, we’ll have cloudy skies and showers.

After the cold front crosses over us on Wednesday, it will stall out to our south.  As a result, we’ll not get any relief from the humidity.  We’d need the front to go farther south so drier, Canadian air could reach us.

With the front just south of us, clouds will hang around and showers will ride the front.

On Friday, the sun–and the heat–returns.  Highs soar to the upper 80s, again.
