HARRISBURG, Pa – A federal grand jury in Harrisburg has indicted Silas Lee Sneed, age 25, of Chicago, Illinois, with three counts of robbery and one count of use of a firearm during a crime of violence.
The charges against Sneed are a result of allegations that Sneed robbed a retail establishment in Harrisburg and attempted to rob two others during the evening of May 7. At each store, Sneed allegedly threatened the employees with a firearm. Sneed was taken into custody by Harrisburg Police early the following morning.
If convicted Sneed faces a maximum sentence of life in prison, a term of probation upon release, and a fine.
