CARLISLE, Pa. — Carlisle Police say a man lied about being hit by a car, even going to the hospital. Samuel Johnson, Jr. reported he was walking westbound on the 400 block of E. North St. on Sunday, July 5th around 6:40pm when he was struck by a blue sedan. Police interviewed Johnson at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Investigators later determined that Johnson was never struck by a vehicle. Johnson is charged with False Reports to Law Enforcement.
