WEEKEND STAYS DRY: After a wonderful, warm Saturday afternoon, Sunday shapes up just as nice. Through the evening hours, skies stay mostly clear. Temperatures fall out of the 80s and into the 70s. Low humidity levels remain through the night. This makes it feel comfortable, with overnight lows in the lower to middle 60s. Sunday expect some more clouds as a weak system approaches from the west. Otherwise, it’s still a warm, seasonable summer day, but the humidity levels rise a touch. Afternoon highs peak in the middle to upper 80s.
EARLY WEEK STORM CHANCES: Our next system brings the chance for a few thunderstorms during the afternoon hours on Monday. Isolated thunderstorm chances are expected to linger into Tuesday and Wednesday as well. They are typical, summery, humid days with highs in the middle 80s.
DRIER BUT TOASTY: Thunderstorm chances take a break Thursday and Friday, but the warmth does not. In fact, temperatures will likely be rising through late week and into the weekend. Highs are in the middle to upper 80s to close out the week, and our region could touch 90 degrees by Saturday. There’s also the chance for some thunderstorms Saturday too, which will play into just how warm the days becomes.
