PEQUEA TWP., Lancaster County, Pa. — A 24 year-old man suffered a life-threatening stab wound in  an attack early Saturday morning. Police were called to 754 Baumgardner Road at 2:05am Saturday for a reported stabbing victim. Police say the 24 year-old victim was attacked by four men. The attackers were gone by the time police arrived. One of them stabbed him in the chest. The victim suffered chest and numerous bruises and cuts on his head, back, and arms and substantial internal bleeding. EMS arrived minutes later and transported the Victim to Lancaster General Hospital.

Police talked to the victim and his family and say Alex Baker, 24, of  was the 600 block North Mary Street in Lancaster is the man who stabbed the victim.

Baker is an acquaintance of the victim. Investigators do not know what caused the altercation.

At this time the victim is still undergoing medical care but his condition has stabilized.

Southern Regional Police is requesting help from anyone with information leading to the identities of the remaining three suspects. They were last seen driving a smaller white sedan. They are further described as black or Hispanic males.

Baker is charged with Aggravated Assault and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

A warrant has been issued for Baker’s arrest as he still remains at large.
