FEELING PRETTY REFRESHING AND COOLER
Finally a cold front has pushed to the south. A breeze out of the north is filtering in much drier and cooler air to help scour out the clouds. They will continue to clear through the evening and overnight. I expect temperatures to drop into the mid and upper 50s by morning. It will be a very nice start, for what should be the hottest time of the year!
High pressure will provide a beautiful day with plenty of sunshine and cooler than average temperatures. Highs will only climb to the upper 70s to around 80. The high will slide a bit further to the east over New England which will shift our winds for Friday. Another beautiful day to end the week but the humidity will creep up a bit as winds come in from the south-southeast. It will be warmer in the low to mid 80s. There will be an increase of clouds later in the afternoon and evening.
FEELING MORE LIKE JULY
Temperatures will warm up even more over the weekend to reflect more typical July weather. Highs will warm to the upper 80s and flirt with 90 degrees in many areas by Sunday and Monday. Thunderstorm threat will be isolated over the weekend but increases into early next week. A cold front approaches late Monday afternoon and evening. It looks to dive south early Tuesday morning keeping the threat for showers around to the start the day. Wednesday looks to be a dry and mainly sunny day but still warm in the upper 80s.
Enjoy the break from the humidity!
