Argument that began on Twitter leads to assault, gun charges against Lower Paxton Township man

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. – An argument that began on the internet leads to the arrest of a Lower Paxton Township man.  On Friday, July 24th at about 7:05 pm, Lower Paxton Township Police arrested Karriem Jabrell Parker, 20, of the 4100 block of Fawn Dr., following a report of an incident involving people being menaced with a firearm in the 6400 block of Jonestown Road.

Parker had been in a vehicle with other persons who became involved in an argument that apparently began on Twitter. Seven victims were involved. Parker had fled the area prior to police arrival but was arrested at his residence without incident.

Charges against Parker include seven counts of Simple Assault by Physical Menace, seven counts of Recklessly Endangering, seven counts of Terroristic Threats, violations of the Uniform Firearms Act-Former Convict Not to Possess and Firearms Not to be Carried Without a License, and Criminal Trespass.
