Boy, 2, struck by SUV in Palmyra

PALMYRA, Pa.–A 2-year-old boy was hospitalized Saturday after being struck by an SUV in Lebanon County, police said.

The accident happened along the 500 block of West Main Street in Palmyra around 3:52 p.m.

According to police reports, the boy was with an adult when he darted into the street and into the path of an oncoming SUV.

The child suffered a head injury and was taken to Penn State Hershey Medical Center for treatment. No word on his condition.
