FEW STORMS
Highs today make a run into the muggy, middle 80s under mostly cloudy skies. A weak disturbance continues to drift to our south, which may aid in the development of a few storms moving into the afternoon. Storms may contain heavy downpours and some frequent lightning. By evening, the storms taper and we cool to the upper 60s overnight.
HOTTER YET
Highs jump to the 90s for the middle part of the week. We could see the hottest air so far this season this week. Stay hydrated. There’s lots of heat, humidity, and sunshine to go around. A front passes on Thursday bringing storms and a slight break in the heat with highs back to the upper 80s for Friday.
WEEKEND
The hot and humid air crank right back up for the weekend. It’s partly cloudy to mostly sunny and mainly rain free as of now. Expect highs near 90°.
Make it a marvelous Monday!
