Man tied-up, shot in Steelton home invasion

STEELTON, Pa. – Two people returning to their home in Steelton were met by two intruders who held them at gunpoint. According to police, the victims’ hands were zip-tied and they were forced into the residence.  One of the victims, a 25 year-old man, was shot twice, once in the arm and once in the leg.  He was taken to the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.

One of the intruders was shot and killed in the attack.

The second victim, a 38 year-old woman, was not injured during the incident.

Police say the public is not in any immediate danger. The coroner has scheduled a press conference for Tuesday.
