Father and son charged in home invasion, burglary, assault

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. – A father and son face multiple charges including impersonating police officers in a July 14 home invasion and burglary in Lower Swatara Township.

Lower Swatara Township Police say Ray M. Arnold, 56 of Middletown and Dillon Arnold 22, forced their way into a residence by breaking through the door and then identified themselves as police officers armed with a baseball bat.  The then ransacked the home causing more damage inside.

Both men are charged with Burglary, Criminal Trespass, Impersonating a Public Servant, and Criminal Mischief.  Ray Arnold has since been arrested and arraigned.

Dillon Arnold remains at large. He also faces an addition charge of  Prohibited Offensive Weapons.
