The world’s largest collector car auction company has returned to Harrisburg.

Day one of the Mecum Auctions Show kicked off Thursday morning at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center.

Over the next four days, more than 1,000 collector cars and hundreds of vintage motorcycles and antique tractors will hit the auction block.

Dave Magers, the CEO of Mecum Auctions, says even if you're not in the market for a new ride there is still something fun to do and see for the whole family.

The car auction will take place Thursday, July 30 to Saturday, Aug. 1.

Approximately 200 vintage and collectible tractors will cross the auction block on Saturday, Aug. 1, and an estimated 200 motorcycles on Sunday, Aug. 2.

There will also be more than 150 tin and neon signs offered throughout the auction.

The event is expected to attract more than 25,000 people from all over the country.
