PLEASANT SUMMER WEEKEND: It’s been a warm end to the work week, but the humidity levels are in check. This carries through during most of the weekend. Expect a fantastic evening for any Friday night plans. There’s even pleasant sleeping weather for the night under clear skies. Overnight low temperatures are in the lower to middle 60s. Saturday, a weakening front crosses through early, and this helps knock the humidity down a touch more during the afternoon. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible, but it is a mainly dry day. Highs are in the lower to middle 80s, making for a pleasant start to the month of August. Sunday skies are mostly sunny, and the humidity creeps up a bit. It’s warmer, but not too humid, with afternoon high temperatures in the middle to upper 80s.
WARM START TO WEEK: The heat briefly returns for early next week. A cold front brings the chance for a couple late day thunderstorms Monday. Otherwise, it’s a hot and humid day with afternoon high temperatures near 90 degrees. Tuesday skies clear, but it’s still very warm and humid. Highs are in the middle to upper 80s.
MID TO END OF WEEK: The middle to end of next week looks fairly seasonable, with temperatures hovering near the middle 80s. Expect a mixture with sunshine and clouds through that period. Although there is great model disagreement on rain chances, at the moment Thursday looks like our best shot for some showers or thunderstorms.
