WAITING ON A COLD FRONT
It was another beautiful day, warmer, but with a bit more humidity. I expect a cold front to push through but not until very late overnight. There is some upper level energy that may help to trigger a few thunderstorms this evening. As the front pushes eastward, we could see a few more showers and thunderstorms later tonight, some of the shower activity could linger past midnight. Shower chance should diminish by the morning drive leaving the area under partly cloudy skies and still feeling muggy. Lows will drop the upper 60s to near 70. Plenty of sunshine expected for Tuesday and there is only a small storm chance. Highs will warm to the mid and upper 80s. The humidity will drop through the day thanks to a westerly wind. There will remain a very small storm threat in the afternoon mainly to the south were the front is slower to completely push through the area.
