YORK CITY, Pa.–Police arrested a 19-year-old man Monday night who is wanted in connection with three homicides in York.

Durell Cotton Jr., of York, is charged with three counts of criminal homicide and aggravated assault. He was arraigned late Monday and taken to York County Prison without bail.

Cotton had been wanted in connection to  the death of 21-year-old Jordan Breeland who was killed on Oct. 15, 2013 and in the deaths of two brothers, 21-year-old Angel Luis Berrios and 19-year-old Abdiel Vazquez-Soto on June 12, 2015.

Berrios and Vazquez-Soto were sitting in a parked SUV at the intersection of Jefferson and Juniper streets, when a car Cotton was riding in pulled up  next to them and opened fire, police said.

Berrios drove the SUV away from the scene, but crashed at the corner of Newberry Street and Madison Avenue. Berrios died at the scene. Vazquez-Soto and another passenger Francisco Rivera, 20, were taken to York Hospital, where Vazquez-Soto later died.

When Breeland was killed–investigators believed it was part of an ongoing gang feud that had been going on for the last several years.

Elvin Mateo, 21, has also been charged in connection with Breeland’s death.
