Body pulled from Susquehanna River ID’d as Lancaster man

HARRISBURG, Pa.–A body recovered from the Susquehanna River in Dauphin County earlier this month has been identified as Gilberto Corti, 44, of Lancaster.

His body was found by a fisherman near the Dock Street dam in Harrisburg on Aug. 2.

Corti died as the result of an accidental freshwater drowning, authorities said.

The coroner reported that his body showed no signs of trauma or foul play.
