Man attacked in Harrisburg while walking from bar

HARRISBURG, Pa.–Police are looking for the suspect who assaulted a 33-year-old man as he left a Harrisburg bar early Friday morning.

Officers responded to a local hospital around 2 a.m. for a report of an assault victim.  The man told police he was walking from a Harrisburg bar to his vehicle when someone came up and punched him in the face. The victim fell to the ground and sustained a broken nose, according to police reports.

Investigators said the victim could not provide any details about his attacker other than he was a man.

Police believe the assault took place along the  400 block of N. 2nd Street after finding blood in that area.

Anyone with information on the assault is asked to call Dauphin County Police Dispatch at 717-558-6900 and ask for a city detective.
