FRIDAY CHANGES
As high pressure nudges into New England, we get in on some slightly cooler and drier air. We’re talking highs in the middle to upper 80s with clouds building through the day as an easterly flow sets up. Watch for a few afternoon and evening thunderstorms, mainly from 4-10PM. Overnight, clouds thicken and we drop to the mid 60s.
FOOTBALL
High school football games look warm, but mainly quiet. Any leftover storms will fade with mostly cloudy skies and temperatures dropping through the 70s. Humidity should drop too.
For the Penn State vs. Temple game, those of you traveling to Philly will be in for good weather. Temps climb through the 70s with clouds slowly breaking for tailgating. It’s mostly sunny as the game starts at 3:30PM with highs in the lower 80s, dropping to the mid 70s by game’s end. Enjoy!
BEACH
Long weekend at the beach? You picked a gorgeous one. Highs are in the upper 70s to low 80s from Saturday through Monday. Expect some clouds and a breeze Saturday, but more sunshine works in for Sunday and even more by Monday. It’s comfy for Saturday with humidity only slowly creeping back up through the weekend. Waves are 2-6 feet with water temps in the mid to upper 70s.
LABOR DAY WEEKEND
The weekend locally looks great as well. Sunglasses! Clouds break for sun by Saturday afternoon. Highs are in the lower 80s with lower humidity. Sunday and Monday are mostly sunny with highs back to the middle and upper 80s.
HOT AGAIN
Hot weather returns for midweek. Sunshine, muggy air, and 90° highs will once again be featured for the short work week. Storms look to move through on Thursday.
